Your tasks include

  • You will act as the operational contact person for technical and organisational data protection: you will support both the management and our specialist departments as an interface for all data protection processes and projects in coordination with the Data Protection Officer (DPO).
  • They deal with the planning, implementation and monitoring of extended IT security measures in a classified environment.
  • In addition, you will define data protection-relevant procedures together with the specialist departments, maintain the central register of processing activities (VVT) and provide support with all control and monitoring measures.
  • Your activities will also include monitoring IT systems by correlating cross-platform events and reviewing and improving the technical effectiveness of implemented IT security measures and solutions.
  • You will be involved in the creation, review and updating of security concepts and information security guidelines.

What you bring with you

  • A degree with an IT focus or comparable training is the ideal prerequisite for this position.
  • On the one hand, your professional experience demonstrates sound expertise in the field of data protection. On the other hand, you also impress us with your technical understanding of IT security management (design and administration of IT security systems), which allows you to evaluate and continuously improve IT security measures.
  • In addition to knowledge of the ISO/IEC 27000 series and current cyber security requirements, you will ideally also have experience and expertise in ITIL-based structures as well as certification as a DPO, DSK or equivalent.
  • Furthermore, you are characterised by independent and responsible work in a working environment characterised by IT security and also have an analytical, quality- and target-oriented way of working.
  • Your strong ability to work in a team and good German and English skills round off your profile.
