What you can expect from our trainee programme

The IT division shapes the digital transformation of DZ BANK and ensures the efficient and stable operation of all IT systems. The teams support the specialist departments in their daily work and work in partnership to develop new technologies and processes. The tasks range from development with Java or C++ to data engineering, application management, system administration, IT security and project management. DevSecOps, Continuous Delivery, SAP HANA, Blockchain or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) are waiting for you.

 

In IT, you can expect flat hierarchies and high demands on modern technologies. You will work in different teams on forward-looking projects and benefit from traditional co-operative values. You have a lot of freedom to make your own decisions and build up a large network step by step. The future of banking is digital. Want to help shape it?

 

In the 18-month Trainee Programme 4.0 with a focus on innovation and digitalisation, you will get to know various units in the IT division of DZ BANK. At the same time, you will work on a digital project as part of an interdisciplinary trainee team. You will develop a prototype in agile formats. You will be supported by experienced coaches and take part in a learning journey and milestone workshops. This allows you to apply your knowledge in practice right from the start and help shape innovations and transformation processes. You will be based in Frankfurt.

What you bring with you

  • You have a successfully completed Master's degree (grade 2.5 or better), preferably in the fields of computer science, engineering or natural sciences.
  • You can communicate well in written and spoken German and English (both at least C1).
  • You are enthusiastic about the further development of banking products and processes and like to be informed about current tech trends and innovations in the banking sector.
  • You enjoy working in agile and cross-departmental teams. You are no stranger to user experience.
  • You show initiative, are reliable, quickly grasp new tasks and stand by your abilities.

What we offer you

  • Perspective: You will start with a permanent contract and a salary of EUR 64,000 during and EUR 69,000 after the trainee programme.
