We are a well-coordinated, interdisciplinary team of around 14 experienced colleagues who have successfully mastered one of the most complex challenges of our time: the development of a robot figure that looks like a living being, whose sympathetic presence touches people emotionally - and which is already having a successful impact in social work today. Our product is never finished: It is constantly being developed, regularly receives new functions and continues to grow in close cooperation with partners in the field. In this way, we are creating a product that provides relief and enhances the quality of social work - today in the care sector, tomorrow in many other areas of social work.
With over 60 robots sold and a broad response in media such as ARD, ZDF, ZEIT and Süddeutsche Zeitung, we are bringing social robotics into everyday reality. Studies prove the positive effect and evidence of our solution. This is reflected not only in public interest, but also in the growing sales funnel.

The design of social interaction (non-verbal and verbal) is extremely demanding. It must be adapted to target groups and contexts and be intuitive, emotionally appealing and consistent. With wider use and growing technical possibilities, the demands on the user experience of our robot are increasing. That is why we are looking for you to design the user experience in such a way that users perceive Navel as a social counterpart with whom they enjoy interacting and want to be with.

These are your tasks
- User research to determine the requirements and needs of various target groups and stakeholders
- Conception of non-verbal and verbal interaction, i.e. dialogue and behaviour strategy within the scope of the given technical possibilities
- Development of overarching guidelines and quality criteria
- Continuous optimisation along the entire user journey
- Implementation of interaction in close cooperation with development
- Testing and quality assurance of new releases
- UX design of the user interface
What you should bring with you
- Sound experience in user research and UX design
- Sound knowledge of language, communication and psychology
- Sound knowledge of usability and design
- Experience in the design of VUI
- Very good technical understanding
- Very good knowledge of prompt engineering
- Systematic and structured approach
- Strong empathic and communication skills
- Strong interest in social robotics and social work
