IoT devices are increasingly deployed in homes, smart factories, and smart city infrastructures. However, many IoT devices are not secure, enabling attacks that can potentially lead to loss of confidential data, production disruption, or even physical damage to the devices or systems.
To tackle this challenge, we introduce DÏoT, an AI-driven solution to monitor and protect IoT devices, data, and operations against cyber attacks in various settings, such as smart homes, cities, and factories. DÏoT operates autonomously and does not require a tedious manual setup phase. Further, it leverages our research-proven federated self-learning algorithm to provide unmatched accuracy for detecting cyberattacks, including zero-day attacks, without leaking confidential data.
DÏoT is a startup at TU Darmstadt funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
