GDC Girls' Digital Camps is a project initiated by the state of Baden-Württemberg to get schoolgirls interested in IT and digitalisation. To this end, courses and educational programmes are offered specifically for schoolgirls in grades 6-8 to prepare young people for the demands of the working world at an early stage. Girls and young women in grades 6 to 8 are given concrete insights into digital applications and professional fields. Through practical experience, the participants strengthen their self-confidence in dealing with and designing digital technology and experience how diverse, creative, future-orientated and socially relevant digital applications and professions are.
