Horizon

HORYZN is a student initiative comprising 70 Bachelor's and Master's students from the TU Munich. The team conceptualises, designs, and builds eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) for real-life use cases. Recruiting: https://horyzn.org/recruiting/ 💡𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 HORYZN was founded in 2019, with students contributing to our various subteams: Flight Testing & Control, CAD, Integration & Design Loop, Structure, and Business. 💭𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 HORYZN's primary aim is to solve real-life problems with a good purpose by applying theoretical knowledge acquired at university. Furthermore, the initiative strives for increased social and political acceptance of UAVs. ✅𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 In July 2024, we concluded our latest project: Our UAV KOLIBRI, developed for delivering life-saving defibrillators, successfully took off after 12 months of testing, building, crashing, and redesigning.
