Job description

About the company

The Federal Office of Administration (BVA) was established in 1960 as an independent higher federal authority by the Federal Ministry of the Interior. The founding idea was to take over the administrative tasks of the federal ministries, bundle them and handle them more effectively. This concept has developed very dynamically over the years: The BVA plays a key role in the current modernisation and digitalisation of public administration. With around 6,000 employees, the BVA performs more than 150 specialised tasks for the entire federal government, for authorities and associations as well as for citizens.

Our IT division employs over 320 people in Cologne/Bonn, Berlin and Hamm, who are responsible for software development for internal IT processes, the organisation of internal IT demand, IT consulting services and the coordination of federal infrastructures.
