SENIOR CONSULTANT DATA & ANALYTICS – SAP & DATABRICKS

Your tasks include

  • Taking responsibility in early, demanding customer projects as well as leading architecture and implementation sprints for migrating SAP source systems to modern Lakehouse target architectures on Databricks
  • Concept and implementation of data pipelines for SAP data (e.g. BW/4HANA, S/4HANA) in Databricks (Delta Lake, Lakehouse patterns) including data quality rules, testing and deployment
  • Advising clients on migration paths (e.g., BW modernisation, integration into SAP Business Data Cloud / SAP Databricks) and defining clear next steps – from discovery workshops to roadmaps.
  • Further expansion of expertise in SAP technologies (e.g. HANA SQLScript, CDS/ABAP-related topics, BW objects) and their connection with best practices on Databricks
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer within the company, maintain and curate contributions on the internal knowledge platform (guides, how-tos, demos) and regular presentations within the department and the company.
  • Supporting pre-sales and sales through workshops, demos, and concise architectural sketches in close collaboration with sales and marketing.

What you bring with you

  • Consultative mindset with goal orientation, pragmatic prioritisation, and transparent decision communication
  • Excellent communication skills in German (C1+) and English (B2+), confident in presentations and workshops.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build sustainable trust by translating technical content into clear business value, as well as confidently managing stakeholders.
  • High willingness to learn in the SAP environment and platform coupling (SAP ↔ Databricks) with targeted professional and methodological development
  • Active knowledge sharing and leveraging internal platforms through documenting best practices, running brown bag sessions, and increasing internal visibility.
  • Strong team spirit and a mentoring approach through colleague support, coaching of juniors, and promotion of shared quality standards
