What happens when you stop asking for permission - and instead start acting boldly? In this inspiring talk, Luboslava Uram shares her personal and professional journey: from the lecture hall, where she felt out of place, to the top of international technology teams.

With clear principles - curiosity, courage, community and consistency - she shows how women can take on leadership roles even when the structures are not designed for them.

An invitation to act boldly, to make a real impact - and to make a clear decision: don't wait. Go ahead.

Life and the world of work are constantly challenging us. Change, uncertainty and high demands are part of everyday life - but why do some people remain stable even in turbulent times and even emerge stronger from crises, while others falter?

The decisive factor is not just how much we achieve or how disciplined we are, but how well we understand ourselves. If you know your inner psychological patterns, beliefs and needs, you can act more consciously, set boundaries more clearly and remain stable and able to act even in difficult moments.

Look forward to new perspectives, strategies suitable for everyday life and valuable impulses that will help you to strengthen your own resilience and not only master challenges, but even grow from them.

Technical professions need diversity - and women bring an indispensable perspective to the table. However, the cliché that technology is "not for women" still persists. This presentation is about why it is so important right now that more women become visible in technical fields, contribute their strengths and support each other. Because only through networks, exchange and mutual support can we create long-term change - for ourselves and for future generations.

Tech is full of brilliant women - but too many are still working twice as hard to be heard, trusted, and taken seriously. The pressure to prove, the constant balancing act between expertise and visibility, and the unspoken rules of male-driven environments leave many women drained, undervalued, or questioning their place.

In this talk, Dr Sara Hegy - award-winning scientist, executive coach, and expat founder - will show women in tech how to shift from overperforming to leading with presence and influence. You'll discover how to turn your vision into your edge, set boundaries that protect your energy, and build the confidence to lead unapologetically. Expect practical tools, refreshing honesty, and empowering strategies that help you thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments without sacrificing yourself.

This session is for women in tech who are ready to break the code - to lead not by fitting in, but by standing out*.

*⚠️ Please come ready to be inspired by stories.

This talk requires curiosity and an open heart.

Many companies have great diversity statements and initiatives, but in everyday life, individuals often feel powerless in the face of structural challenges. What can I do if I don't sit on the board, have no influence on recruitment and don't control the budget? In this talk, Thao would like to give tips for everyday working life on what you can do as an employee to make more people feel included in your own environment. Because if we all take small steps, many things will change in a big way.

In the 1960s, mainframe computers dominated the market-they were huge, expensive, and accessible to only a few. In the 1970s and 1980s, personal computers arrived and turned a purely technical decision into a strategic business decision:

Which system, which equipment, which training?

Today, we are once again at such a turning point - with the leap from classic to generative AI. In this presentation, you will learn why AI is not an ordinary tool, why the choice of the "operating system" for artificial intelligence must be well thought out both from a regulatory and strategic perspective, and why digital sovereignty plays a central role in this.

AI Strategy Institute will shed light on how this complex decision can be broken down in such a way that it becomes practical for every company - and what specifically needs to be done. After all, we have been here before. Today, almost everyone uses a computer. Perhaps the step into the AI era is easier than you think.

Vita Lang:

Tristan Post is the founder of the AI Strategy Institute, lecturer in "AI for Innovation and Entrepreneurship" at the Technical University of Munich - a course that attracts over 1,000 students every semester - and faculty member for AI at the Boston Consulting Group.

He is a member of the Digital Committee of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Previously, he built and led one of Europe's largest startup incubators for artificial intelligence, worked as an AI strategist and AI product owner, and has more than eight years of teaching experience in higher education and AI.

He advises startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, large corporations, public organisations, and governments on understanding and successfully deploying AI. Since 2019, Tristan has been accredited under the UK Professional Standards Framework for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.

Firstly, there is an overview of the ADAC Data & Analytics platform and its role as the basis for data-driven decisions. It then shows how the platform is being continuously developed: from the classic BI and reporting approach to forecasting, supported by machine learning and AI models. Operational data from the past is used to better assess future developments. Specific examples - for example from ADAC Versicherung AG - are used to explain how forecasts are created, embedded in the architecture and used in sales.

This presentation contrasts the key risks of AI - such as loss of quality and new job profiles - with the enormous opportunities it offers: radical efficiency, scalability and personalised content formats. You will gain a clear perspective on how generative AI is changing content strategy and why people must remain at the centre of it.

The local-first paradigm promises transformative benefits - user-owned data, seamless offline capabilities, and instant interactions. But how do you get started? In this lightning talk, we'll cover the key concepts and show you how to begin your local-first journey.

Not every new trend in web development is destined to stick, but the local-first paradigm feels different. It's about more than offline capability - it's a shift towards user-owned data, instant interactions, and apps that work seamlessly, regardless of network conditions.

This talk offers a short, approachable introduction to building local-first applications today, covering core principles, architectures, and tools.

ITCS MasterclassesExperience tech topics in a practical way!

Experience current industry topics in a practical way and learn from leading experts - this is exactly what the masterclasses offer. The format goes beyond a conventional presentation. In practice-orientated sessions, you can discover innovative solutions, make valuable contacts and gain directly applicable insights.

Whether our work and life are healthy, fulfilling and effective is often decided at precisely this point:

The ability to really know ourselves.

Many people believe they know exactly who they are. However, inner beliefs and drivers such as "Try hard!" or "Be perfect!" often control us as if on autopilot. If we are not aware of them, they cause stress and prevent us from realising our potential.

In this masterclass you will learn ...

  • why knowledge about ourselves is the linchpin for a healthy, productive (working) life,
  • how this knowledge helps us to remain resilient in times of change,
  • and which methods lead to more clarity, inner strength and self-efficacy. You can also experience these for yourself in the session.

Most organisations brag about diversity and stop there.

Visionary leaders go many steps further - they know that inclusion is what transforms differences into creativity, trust, and results. In this masterclass, Dr Sara Hegy - award-winning scientist and executive coach - reveals how senior leaders can move beyond compliance to build cultures where diverse teams become engines of innovation.

Expect practical tools, exercises, powerful insights, and a no-fluff approach that will leave you with a clearer path to leading across differences - and unlocking the full potential of your people.

*⚠️ This session is not for everyone. Come only if you're willing to play a little, laugh, learn deeply, and lean into openness. This masterclass requires giving the trainer permission to lead you through an honest, politics-free experience of what true leadership feels like.

Necessary prior knowledge: It's advisable to read through the following: 🚀 https://www.brainzmagazine.com/post/chapter-8-the-freedom-of-the-mind 🚀 https://www.brainzmagazine.com/post/chapter-9-embracing-change-for-a-bright-visionary-future 🚀 https://www.brainzmagazine.com/post/chapter-10-the-ultimate-integration-unleashing-your-leadership-potential

Materials needed: There will be a clinic, a focused, group problem-solving session section at the end where I coach live 1-3 real cases (e.g., "my first manager hire is failing," "team is burned out") and leave each with 2-3 concrete actions each. Time-boxed, practical, outcome-oriented. 🙂 Please submit your cases here: https://tellonym.me/sarahegy
